Conversations About Weight

Learn how to support people living with overweight and obesity by completing this online weight management training for Health Professionals. Developed by Diabetes WA, the modules are an RACGP accredited CPD activity with two CPD points available for each module.

Latest evidence in weight science presented from the perspective of both consumer and clinician. Introduces weight stigma.
Module 2 – Conversations that engage
Instigating and conducting conversations with patients about weight and the current science around treatment options.

Working with patients to formulate action and plans to adopt healthier lifestyle behaviours.
